You May Not Be A Famous Athlete, But...

Friday brought us to the "V" in S.A.V.E.R.S. which stands for Visualizations.

Visualizations are the formation of a mental image of something,

and as usual, I shared some nuggets in the video (feel free to click the image above to watch it.)

I shared some examples of things I've visualized before and the actual result I got.

It's crazy.

Down to the details.

And although I like to think I'm special, visualizations don't just work for me.

It works for athletes,

actors,

everyday people...

And if you don't have time to watch the video in completion,

but want to get started on visualizing tonight,

here are a few pointers:

  • Use your senses. Feel it! What colors do you see? Feel the breeze on your face. Be there.

  • Be in FIRST person. Seriously, be the star of your visualization, not the audience. Try not to visualize as a viewer, seeing yourself. View it through your eyes.

  • Practice it. So what, you dozed off while visualizing. Maybe you keep seeing yourself as a third person, instead of visualizing from your vantage point. Keep at it! Keep practicing.

  • Lastly, WRITE IT DOWN. There's power in that. You can visualize daily, but make sure to write it out in first person at some point. And you can tweak it, or add to it, whenever you like.

The world's best athletes are famous for utilizing visualization to perform their best. Why not you?
