Stop Trying To Be Happy...

Had to say it.

Because I've been guilty of it myself.

Setting a goal. A timeline.
Some THING to tie success and happiness to. 
Setting it outside of myself. So that it's always out of reach.

If you've never done it, great! You've spared yourself some wrinkles. 
But if you have (or are) like most of us at some point, then STOP.

Should you have goals? Of course!
But you shouldn't make that goal a destination for the place where you'll achieve happiness.

Be. Happy. Now.

You may not have everything you want. 
May not have taken that dream trip yet,
bought that dream [insert whatever it is that you dream to have],
BUT you do have something to be thankful for. 
At least one thing.

And whether it's a big thing, or somewhat minuscule, 
give thanks!
Have gratitude. 
Allow yourself to smile.

You deserve it, and it's good for your skin. ;)
