The Day Just Seems to Fly By...

When you're working from home, or running a business from home WITH a kid (or kids) in the house,

at time it seems impossible-

One minute you're in the zone creating, the next- you're sweeping 105+ tiny grains of rice off the floor,

because your adorable toddler decided they were finished eating and did not want the bowl on their table.

Even though there are some days where actually getting things accomplished is harder than others,

it helps to have some things in place, so I shared them on my FB live yesterday.

(you can catch the video HERE...fast forward like 2 minutes in... today was wild.)

Afterwards, I received a message from a Facebook friend who is a stay-at-home dad and in the same wellness club as me.

He commented that some days he doesn't even know where to begin in regards to growing his business.

Here's my advice to him, and to you, if you're needing insight-

It's not hard. Stop overthinking.

If you want to be visible- post.

Post about your daily life and then throw in a thing or two about entrepreneurship in general, or having a home based business, or a living a healthy lifestyle.

If you're going to build an email list, get an autoresponder and start building.

If you're going to go live, do it.

Choose which actions you can be consistent about each day and then, do them.

You can have the best [insert whatever it is that you've got],

but if people don't know you exist, or how to reach you, you can't help anyone, and you can't sustain or grow.

I often feel that businesses are similar to relationships in that you have to first know your goal,

then be committed to your commitment to achieve that goal,

then continue to communicate and be consistent in all your efforts.

I worked from my bed today as Dane slept in (no school since is Luna New Year), before I left the bed, I had already communicated with 15 people, posted, meditated, tweaked my schedule for the day, and mapped out the rest of my week.

And STILL today seems to have flown by.

But each day I'm committed to taking action, each day I'm committed to taking another step (or many) closer to my goal.

Might as well, because the time is gonna pass anyway.

P.S. If you want to learn more about the wellness club I'm in, I'll save you a virtual seat every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday night at 5pm pt/6pm mt/7pm ct/8pm et- HERE.
