The 4 C's...
So here's a quick marketing nugget that I've shared with my team in my primary company and other business owners that I've trained. I learned this concept from my mentor and tweaked it. It's only right to share it with you.
There are the 4 C's of Marketing (these aren't always taught, OR are taught differently).
1. Collect
2. Capture
3. Communicate
4. Close
Collection is the activity that you do, that causes a person to discover you, to be aware of your existence. (prospecting, referrals)
Nothing more. It can be fancy, it can be very basic.
(Think public Facebook Live videos, posting/commenting in Facebook groups, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, referrals, meeting people in person and introducing yourself.)
Capturing is actually receiving/getting the person's contact information and archiving it somewhere
(Think voicemail, opt-in page, link to a Google Doc or form, you writing it down, etc.) *Note: You should have your OWN list of customers and prospects, don't rely solely on the MLM company, feel free to save in GoogleDocs or Excel if you don't have a CRM or autoresponder; if you want an autoresponder, let me know and I'll send you my affiliate link.)
Communicating is where the follow up is and where the presentation goes on.
(Think calling, emailing, messaging, three-way calls, sending them to an opportunity call.)
Closing is where the actual transaction takes place; where the actual sale is executed.
(Think of the person making a purchase on the website, or you speaking with them while you process their order online. Sales is NOT marketing. Marketing gets the person ready for a sale. It opens them up and makes them comfortable. If marketing is foreplay, sales is sex.)
So if you haven't joined up for my email list, then you've been missing out on some helpful emails. Go ahead and join here.
